Purchased this thinking it would be suitable for paediatric use but it is far too big for an infant even 7 months old. Only any good for an older child or adult. Otherwise it does function.
Fast service getting the monitor out to me. Its best for older kids.
I use my monitor to test my oxygen level since my double lung transplant, it’s a great boy.
Nursing Fob Watch face is easy to read and robust.
Pediatric pulse oximeter probably doesn't really work on children under 12 months, supposed to work on 2 month olds.
Great to have in the first aid kit. Disappointed I couldn’t pick the colour. Sadly I got the colour I hate being orange
This is a great, easy to use probe. Unfortunately I need to use it for an Infant. I'm unable to get a sufficient trace and therefore reading while awake. Works OK when child asleep. But tends to wake the child when putting it on.
Works well for adults however unreliable for smaller children and babies where I have had to resort to taking pulse manually. I assumed it would work for kids due to being called “paediatric” but not so.
The description says it’s suitable for babies 2 months or older. My son is 3 months and is on oxygen I was hoping to get a portable oximeter so I could monitor his levels when se are out but it’s impossible to get a reading as the device is to big for his little fingers. It works well for children and adults though.
